Poetry Is the Matter of Heart

Poetry is the Matter of Heart is by far the most intimate program of the Book Fair(y), centred around poets and poetry. Along with the bards of verse and masters of sonnets, it introduces the audience to the new poetic voices and most recent poetry books, both from the region and around the world, who are presented in the legendary spaces of Pula. Poetry readings and performances are the jewels of the Book Fair(y), their atmosphere lingering long after they pass. Let's just remember Luko Paljetak, enlivening the Renaissance playfulness, the magical Syrian poet Adonis, and a poetess of our own, the enchanting Evelina Rudan.
