Pop Reading
Pop Reading is a morning program intended for high school students. It adheres to the Book Fair(y)'s approach to literature, viewed as a lived experience that goes beyond the library shelves and established canon, as something that we breathe and absorb every day without necessarily being aware that we are actually – reading. In that sense, Pop Reading returns to the broad definition of the written word, introducing the young generation of writers, poets, comic book authors, bloggers, journalists, and musicians to Istrian high school students. They are hosted by the journalist, writer, and editor Emir Imamović Pirke, known for his knowledgeable yet unconventional style that gives a special touch to this program.
