Ivan Ljutić
Forbidden Dance Records is an independent Croatian record label dedicated to vinyl releases, musical exploration and connecting the local scene with the international community of artists. One of the founders of this label, as well as the record label Third World Records, is Ivan Ljutić, a DJ, music collector, promoter and independent publisher from Rovinj, with more than twenty years of experience in the electronic music scene. His musical journey, marked by performances throughout Croatia and Europe, is rooted in a longstanding commitment to vinyl culture, musical exploration and bringing together different generations of performers and audiences. Alongside his work as a label founder, he is also the creator and host of the „Forbidden Dance Radioshow“ on the independent radio station D59B. Growing out of a longstanding love of house music and vinyl culture, the label has gradually developed a distinctive identity that transcends strict genre boundaries. Through its releases to date, Forbidden Dance Records has brought together a number of internationally acclaimed musicians, including Patrice Scott, XDB, Aleqs Notal, Gary Superfly, Zopelar, Vick Lavender and Justin Dillard, as well as artists from the local and regional scene.
