Boran Kalčić

Boran Kalčić was born in 1968 in Pula. He has lived and received his education in Pula, Zagreb and Milan. Among the countless jobs he has held, he highlights his involvement in the international exposition in Genoa EXPO 1992, when he was the director of the Croatian Pavilion, as well as his many years of work at the Small Academy for Gifted Youngsters Leonardo. He is one of the initiators and a member of the programme committee for „Histrokozmos“, a small „fair within a fair“, established at the 29th Pula Festival of Books and Authors – Book Fair(y) in Istria. A proud biker at heart, he is a passionate collector of books, works of art and old motorcycles. A connoisseur of Istrian history and culture, and a nuanced expert on Istria. A passionate researcher, creator and consumer of Istrian tables and cellars.
