Vjeran Juhas

Vjeran Juhas is a graphic designer, illustrator, and photographer from Pula with more than 20 years of professional experience. His work is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach in which graphic and web design, illustration, comics, analogue techniques (screen printing, linocut, Polaroid photography), digital communications, and education intersect. He is actively connected with the local and regional cultural scene through design, artistic research, and educational programmes. He cultivates a personal authorial style that combines nostalgia and contemporaneity. He is particularly inspired by comics and Japanese animation, which is reflected in his artistic work and educational activities. He is the creative coordinator, screenwriter, and artist of the „Vodnjanske štorijice“ project, and together with his brother Vibor Juhas, he is the author of the comic „Mr. Joe“. He is one of the founders of HUiU and the president of the Artistic Council of the HUiU Gallery in Pula.
